Man I live in Bay city Michigan and the fish still are not spawning no carp no gar no anything!!! I've been down to the water every day just scouting and target practicing on bottles in the water and still no fish. Today I even walked out to the bay and all I saw were geese and 5foot waves, all I got was wet shoes and socks, and a kick in the ass. So if there is anybody who lives in my area and if you know some good hot spots tell me. but don't tell me if your from another part of the state like the U.P because chances are your spots are hour drives from where I live and gas is just too expensive

It's been a cool spring here in Montana and the spring runoff hasn't started which coincides with the carp spawning here. Maybe the same all over.

Bowfishing in our area of Michigan is still a week half to two weeks out. Be patient LOL-----Dave was that you in the shop the other day buying a new arrow?

the spawn hasnt come yet in wisconsin, it was starting last week but this rain turned it off i think. should be a week or so and theyll be fired right up! oh yeah... what spawns first, gar or carp?

Dave I haven't bowfished in years(don't even have a bow set up LOL). But a couple guys at the shop do-----just old recurves with the AIM reels and wade the cat tails on the bay east of Bay City.
