I bought an aluminum and fiberglass arrow, with a garpoon tip, and instead of having safety slide it has a swivel tied on it. I figured heavier the arrow tne more penetration, well I shot a huge carp and when I pulled the line the arrow came out of the fish, how does this happen? I also noticed my arrow seems to nose dive is this because its so heavy?

is your nock set right so your arrow sits right? the fall out was probably from lack of penetration. what poundage r u using? hevier means less speed too. ive heard pretty good things about garpoon tips.
