Parker	posted 05/24/2006 11:07 PM EST.     I want to get a gar really bad this year, they spawn after carp right? i got a really good spot for em, but whenever we see em were fishin and never have our bows can get practically right next to em. Just wonderin when they spawn, thanks (in wisconsin if that helps)

elk-aholic	Response #2 posted 05/25/2006 04:37 PM EST.     Why wait for a spawn? If you are seeing them you can shoot them. I shoot carp all summer long the spawn only lasts a week or two.
