Should have been more specific, how do you dispose of them other than smoking or eating them?
Thanks again.

bury them------they work great for fertlizer. Don't leave them in the water or on the bank(more than likely against the law) or just dump them when they start to rot it stinks bad------bury them.

If you know someone with a garden they do make great fertilizer. Rototill them in and watch the veggy's grow.
where we use to bury them the weeds grow taller then the rest of the field.

Our local landfill will take them for me if I can not find someone else that wants them.

I'd like to hear more about smoking them. I've always heard that they were just too bony to deal with, but then again gar are not supposed to be good to eat either, and I know that's wrong.

Italians call carp, "The Queen of the Lake," and do not hesitate to cook them.
But they will make good fertilizer, if you have a garden.

what we usually do is bring a big plastic garbage bin with us in the boat, and when that gets full, we'll drive up in the cattails and throw em in there. Where we go, they actually put dumpsters there to put the carp into when we got back, so taht's what we use also. I've also heard that smoked Buffalo Carp are really good because theyr'e not like the golden carp. They're not bottom feeders, so they have a nice white meat. You can smoke those because they are delicious

Buffalo yes, carp no!! Please do not throw them out at someones gate to their hunting lease. Im not thinking you would do that anyway, but here people throw deer heads and carcas out in front of the gates because they are too lazy to do anything else. Someone gets out to open the gate and gags. I think some folks do it because they are mad that the land is leased to begin with. Ok, im off topic a little, throw them anywhere they wont stink up someones place.

Rent a limb shredder and shred them up for chum. Return the shredder and run for your life.

JB i have a pretty good feeling about this spring. Me and Luke unfortunately missed the Buffalo spawn because we were up north for my cousins graduation. But, i did manage to shoot around 60 or so. I just got some new tips for my muzzy's n i'm gettin some new string for my AMS because i shot so many times last year that it's gettin all frayed and i dont want a 40+ pounder gettin off! The Buff spawn is THE best thing there is. Theere is sooo many of them it's unbelievable. They're not the easiest things to kill either, because parker shot one right in the gill plate and it bent his tip on his arrow lol..Me n Parker like to use Recurves for the quick shootin that we get. On a good night, you'll have blisters all over your fingers, and you wished u had an fully automatic carpin rig. That's how many there are at one time. We still got some stuff to do to our boats. We don't have any electricity flowin through my boat so i gotta hook up an outlet to plug in our spotlights But you definately should come up, it's a blast, and ther's plenty of room for u to stay.
