Sunday will be the first chance out after some carp and gar sure hopin their still rollin all over each other making it fun. Just hope the old recurve still shoots straight.

Well for some reason everything always turns into an adventure.
We got half way across the bay that we fish in in lake erie and our motor battery died. We thought we had a fully charged battery so we did not bring oars. The battery we thought was fully charged got unplugged by my buddies sister after only charging for one hour.
So now were up **** creek without a paddle literally. The wind was blowing in the right direction that we didnt end up lost at sea in the middle of lake erie which was a plus. It took us shooting our arrows into weeds in front of us and dragging ourselves into fishing position. We finally blew into shore at the ritziest yacht club in erie, just say ours was the only 14 foot dingy boat on dock at this place. We made a phone call and got oars delivered to us just in time to make one drift through the good fishing spots before it got dark. Saw one gar and didn't get a shot at it because it spooked before we got to it.
Good thing was we made it out alive bad thing was we didn't get any shooting.

Wow, when getting out alive is the best you can do for a plus, it's a bad day! Hopefully you'll have better luck next time!
