Bob Stokes	Response #1 posted 06/27/2006 07:30 AM EST.     Carpkiller, Are you thinking of above water use, shooting into the water like in bowfishing. If so you will be real dissapointed. Spear guns are very short range weapons. Like 15 feet max. They are weighted for neutral boyancy so they don't float up or down when used underwater the way they were intended. If you are intending to use them diving the real long ones are for open water and bigger fish. The short ones are for use around reefs and smaller fish. Bob
Parker	Response #2 posted 06/27/2006 11:09 PM EST.     if ur talkin bout for carp a long tipped, 6 or 8 prong pitchfork does the job nicely. they also make pitchforks especially for bowfishi ng and make tips u can weld on as well
