 minnesota regulations

are you allowed to go bowfishing in minnesota ? I'm about to go on a trip up there and it would sure help if I knew.

also when does the 1 year trial period start for catfish in texas

Summers- I see people doing it in the spring when the roughfish get stranded in the shallows of the rivers but never seen any bowfishing after that. I'm 90% sure it's legal and now you have me wondering why nobody does it. I will say most of our roughfish go deep in the summer. I do know you can't do it with walleyes-northerns-etc. Hook and line only there.

Yes you can bowfish for rough fish only in MN from May 1st - Feb 28th
