it usually doesnt skip if ur usin a fiberglass arrow, the longest shot ive made was over 20 yards, i guess it depends on ur skill level and the amount of line u have. taking deep shots beyond even 10 yards.. in my opinion... is vertually impossible unless ur usin a LOT of poundage, even then its prolly a lucky shot.

i have seen fiberglass skip with fletchings on it. other than that it should not skip

It usaully pisses alex off because i shoot a higher poundage than him which gives me an extended range over many of the guys we shoot with. Like parker said 20 Plus yards shoots are not uncommon.
The fletching does nothing for you, strip it off. The line attached to the arrow will keep it going straight. Practice those longer shots and before you know it you'll be making those miracle shots you once thought were out of range

Don't tie the string to the arrow use a Muzzy slide much safer.

i agree with that too. i was watchin team fitzgerald the other day, and they were encouraging to tie to the back of the arrow. i couldnt believe it , and when he drew it back it got snagged on his limb/limbsaver, i laughed

safety slides are not better with a spin cast setup they are with a hand wrap reel tho safety slides allow you to draw with a spin cast even if the button isnt pushed
