Does crystal clear water make a bigger difference when shoot at fish? It was hard for me one min. we were in 4 foot of water and the 8 to 10 but we could not tell the difference in it, it was that clear and seems to make it harder to stick the fish.

yeah deepness can really effect the arrow sticking a fish.. arrow wont penetrate deeper water all the way through... it slows down about 6 feet down

I've shot deep water most of my life. I little taller deck will help you greatly.

If you shoot in shallow water you don't need to be that high but in deep water it is almost a must!

And for deeper water I would suggest a much heavier draw weight to penetrate down deep. I used to shoot over 80 lbs when bowfishing up on the St. Lawerence river, Crystal Clear and deep!
