 Spearing oceans in florida?
  Bowfishing is quickly becoming a popular sport. Advice, questions and opinions here are most welcome.

Every time i go to florida"3 times a year" we fish everyday. And everyday i get cudas and cobia galore in my chumslick. Is it legal to shoot em with a bow?

and ask Ed (Ejoe). I know he's done a lot of bowfishing in Florida, for rays at least but I would assume he knows the regs.

I think you can spear Cobia and 'cudas here in Florida but not sharks. Check the Fish and Game regs to be sure though. I also think there is a limit on Cobia - maybe one per day.
