I sure there is, MN has huge common carp. There is a lot of guys from MN at BUSA and there is a bowfishing club in MN. LLBA I think (Land of Lakes Bowfishing Association ) they have a web site and a board at BUSA. Link to their board on BUSA. They are having a big turny this year.

AMS retrievers r good. u can get them cheaper on ebay. (theyre the ones with the big white cone that stores the line) muzzy bowfishing tips r good... they make a few different kinds... they all work. good fiberglass arrows. sullysbowfishing.com has some good stuff so does archeryexchange.com have fun with it

im not a fan of 2 prong rests, but they work if the spring is stiff enough to hold the weight of the arrow up. i use a roller rest too and i like them a lot. i think its easier to shoot fingers, because well first off i use a recurve, but even with compound, idk y but i always try to aim with sights when i use a release bowfishing. its mostlyinstinctive remember, just use what ur best with.
