Is there a certain place the nock should be set for best arrow flight, for the heavy fish arrow?..say shooting a 50lb recurve...?

I used to shoot mine into a broadhead target and see if the arrow went in straight at 5 yards and adjust acordingly. I know its crude, but it did help, it helped alot on deep shots. I think Mink and Bigbird do alot of bowfishing, maybe they have a better way.
