Had a great evening tonight saw a button buck, spike, 6 pointer, and a few doe. I had a one sneek in on me around 6pm. She was 15 yd when my buddy saw her, he was also hunting, but didn't have a doe tag for this section. She busted him and trotted 40 yds and made a slight u turn towards me. She was behind some trees and started snorting and stomping. All I needed was her to take two steps. She took one I drew back and waited a very long 15 seconds for the next step, she gave me a very nice 35yd quartering away shot, Let one fly and thwack. Double lung pass thru, went about 20 yds and took a dirt nap. Its good to get the confidence early, first deer with my new setup. Goodluck to everyone this season. Lets go Team 12.
