Went out this last thursday night, saw quite a few deer but none in range. Fifteen minutes before dark this doe came walking under my stand. Shot her at 7 yards. The montec passed through her right lung and heart before exiting past the front shoulder (no meat ruined ). She went about fifty yards before crashing. I was gonna give her fifteen to bleed out but it started raining pretty heavy so I started tracking her. After it really started to pour I lost the blood trail but got lucky enough to see the deer's eye shining in the light in front of me. didn't have time for any pictures in the woods cuz i was getting soaked so i hope this works. Now I just have to wait around till the rut comes to get my buck.
