well guys, after a lot of hours in the stand, I finally conneted tonight with a nice doe! The deadzone and the strikers did the trick! It started snowing here in Wisconsin this morning. I wanted to do a morning hunt but i had football, so i went out tonight. The temp was about 30 degrees, got in my stand, and sat for a while. Bout five o' clock, I saw two does headed my way, One of the does came out front and down wind of me, she was at ten or so yards, drew back and made her stop, then released. hit her quartering to me little bit, but i had a good angle. Had a great pass thru, the deer ran about 50 yards and piled up! Couldn't be a better way to start things off!
