At 8:00am this morning I look to the west and in the corn is this guy just eating away. I grunt at him but he keeps eating so I threw the heavy horns together and got his attention. He came out of the corn directly south of me about 150 yards away and was looking in my direction for the fight. Reluctantly I honked the ol' True Talker about 3-4 times and that was enough to entice him over. Long story short, he came to 4 yards drooling, licking his nose and grunting. He made 2 scrapes and escavated a small sapling DIRECTLY where I couldn't shoot. When he started to walk away I saw a small window and sent a GrizzTrick right in the bread basket. Ran 80 yards and piled up in a small alfalpha field. He is missing a G3 so it is only a 7pt but he does have a 17" inch spread. Good deer for my county that is for sure...
