Stuffed Elk Peppers

Necessary Ingredients:
6 medium green peppers1-1/2 lb. ground elk1/2 cup finely chopped onion1 cup cooked white rice1 minced garlic1/4 tsp. seasoning salt 1 can tomato soup1/2 cup water1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheesesalt and pepper to taste |

Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds. Mix the elk, onion, rice, garlic and salt and pepper. Carefully pack each pepper and place in a glass baking dish. Mix soup and water and pour over the top. Now they are ready for the oven. Bake for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake another 10 to 15 minutes till the cheese is browned. |
