Stuffed Elk Peppers

Necessary Ingredients:

6 medium green peppers 1-1/2 lb. ground elk 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1 cup cooked white rice 1 minced garlic 1/4 tsp. seasoning salt 1 can tomato soup 1/2 cup water 1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds. Mix the elk, onion, rice, garlic and salt and pepper. Carefully pack each pepper and place in a glass baking dish. Mix soup and water and pour over the top. Now they are ready for the oven. Bake for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake another 10 to 15 minutes till the cheese is browned.
