Savory Bear Steaks

Necessary Ingredients:
2-4 Bear Steaks cut 1-1/2" thick1 Onion, sliced1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar1/2 cup water1/2 cup Salad oil1 tablespoon Mixed Pickling Spices1 tablespoon salt1 tsp. Garlic powder |

Cooking Directions:
Trim all fat from Bear meat, Wash well. Place steaks in a glass bowl, add onion, vinegar, oil, water, spices, garlic and salt. Marinate in the refrigerator overnight, turning occasionally. Remove steaks, drain and pat dry. Heat oil in frying pan. Pan broil the steaks, adding only enough oil to prevent sticking. Turn frequently until done. Season to taste with salt and pepper |
