(Alas for comedy perfection, the Pacer did not really have an S series, though they did have a Stationwagon and a Sport model...They did have an X-series, but between "Look at that X-car go!" (which could have worked, maybe) and "Look at that S-car go!", tradition won the con flip... :-))
