My wife was familiar with it though, and she was a bit incredulous that I hadn't...until I pointed out the young guy in full cowboy regalia we encountered at our new favorite local brewery taproom who claimed he'd never heard of Stevie Ray Vaughan. ( I immediately gave him a homework assignment consisting of the essential SRV live performances available via YouTube, lest he be visited by a contingent of the TX Rangers and escorted to the nearest state lane and ejected from the state for being the sorry sack of crap they would surely deem him of being).
