Best bait is yellow bellys, or live shad. And you must be drunk while do it.

It's just like you have to have a hook to catfish. You have to have a case of beer as well.

Oh baby that sounds like a ton of fun. Back in the 60's you could bow fish for them.
Every old tire under the water was the home of a nice big( 2ft or better ), channel cat and some times a blue. One year on opening day/night of walleye season I caught 6 large cats. No walleyes, just the cats. 12.) bluecat - 07/02/2013

The book is excellent, as is one of his others, [I]The Sacred Art of Hunting.[/I] I highly recommend finding that one as well.
