I don't know how you can say that. I use old coffee grounds to filter the new coffee. This filter right here is on its third day.

Speaking of which, I nearly had to resign from a hunting club one time when someone saw me scooping new coffee on top of old grounds (conserving the filter, I call it) and pouring undrunk coffee from the pot into the coffee maker with new water when making a fresh pot. He nearly had a hissy fit like a little girl.

You can't explain how to be a conservationist to someone like that...Who knows what he's like in the woods? LOL

Funny. When I was on my trip to Nebraska I was showing my hunting partner Andy my boots which I purchased in 1997 and the BDU tiger stripe fatigues with a lot of "built in" ventilation and my chamois shirt that no longer can button because the button holes got torn on a barb wire fence. They are so comfortable (and functional) I just can't see tossing them yet.

He said when woman see a loose thread they buy a new garment, when a guy buys an article of clothing, it's a contract for life. So true.

And it doesn't just go for my own clothes. Let's just say if I shrink half a foot and become somewhat round, I have a few things of my dear departed dad's I can wear, and if I ever run into a petite girl who hunts, she can wear some of my old girlfriend's stuff I bought her. LOL...


There's probably a psychological term for this...:wink
