Hunter - 04/25/2016 We put an aerial assault on the pigs the other day. Those big ones are tough! Using #4 buckshot! 2.) Swamp Fox - 04/25/2016 Was it any more effective on the smaller pigs? Taking a rifle next time? Or at least a slug gun? LOL 3.) Alex - 04/25/2016 why would anyone use buckshot on full grown pigs? 4.) Jon - 04/25/2016 That got expensive. I'm amazed buck shot was even a thought, slugs are much cheaper and so much more effective if you are going the shotgun route. 5.) DParker - 04/25/2016 Needs more happy switch. Hunter - 04/25/2016
why would anyone use buckshot on full grown pigs?
Not just full grown pigs. It's a good choice for most of the hogs we have. 8.) Quick shots on running hogs while continually maneuvering makes slugs less feasible. 9.) bluecat - 04/25/2016 Do you go back and recover the hogs? Do you kill enough to warrant the time and expense? |
