Albertabowhunter - 09/02/2013 well dropped a doe tonight at 36 yards.  shebwas quartering away.    she ran approximately 70 yards and crashed.    was in the stand for under an hour.   it was +28 celcius when I arrived to my hunting siite.   she's already skinned and hanging at the butcher.....    first time ive ever taken one on opening day.... 2.) I was going to PM you.  That's why I bumped up the call for four new victims....I mean contestants... As soon as we have a kill from someone who's on a team already, I'll start an Official Kill Thread so all the kill reports can be listed in one place. I don't want to do it before then, though. We'll have to keep track of the stray Canuck on the side in the meantime... :-) 10.) Swamp Fox - 09/03/2013 Still bucks only for a while: Does come in Sept. 15 with doe tags...Doe days start Oct 5, I think it is.  Gun season opened on Sept. 1 in my zone, will open Sept 15 in Zone 4 which I hunt every once in a while. Bow season was slow, despite the often-cool weather. Have seen some good rifle kills, though, from Aug. 15 openers. 15.)
