Swamp Fox - 09/09/2013 Was that Chris Christie in the skybox with Jerry Jones? Someone check and make sure no Texas Longhorns are missing.... 22.) DParker - 09/09/2013
Was that Chris Christie in the skybox with Jerry Jones? Someone check and make sure no Texas Longhorns are missing....
I knew "Krispy Kreme" was a bad nick-name to give to that wide receiver. 23.) Pa bowhunter - 09/09/2013 Not to worry, Dallas will remember who they are next week..:wink:co::wave: 24.) Swamp Fox - 09/09/2013 If the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders came out to the ribbon-cuttings for the new Krispy Kremes, that would be awesome ... http://bizbeatblog.dallasnews.com/2013/06/krispy-kreme-outlines-plans-for-d-fw-expansion.html/ 25.) bluecat - 09/10/2013
Was that Chris Christie in the skybox with Jerry Jones? Someone check and make sure no Texas Longhorns are missing....
Well they didn't show up for their first game again BYU. BYU's quarterback rushed for 295 yards. So an APB would be appropriate. 26.) bluecat - 09/10/2013 In other Big XII news, Kansas encountered a white powdery substance near one of the goal lines on Saturday. Most didn't know what to make of it since they had never seen something like that before. Several of them snorted it when no one was looking. 27.) Swamp Fox - 09/10/2013 LOL on both posts... Man, you're on fire! :-) 28.) bluecat - 09/10/2013 It's only a flesh wound. 29.) Swamp Fox - 09/10/2013 Did you know Jerry Jones has an interest in a bunch of Dunkin Donuts in the Dallas area, along with Troy Aikman? That's something I found out while researching Cowboys cheerleaders.......Not the most interesting thing I came across :wink but I thought I'd throw it out there...:-) 30.) DParker - 09/10/2013
Did you know Jerry Jones has an interest in a bunch of Dunkin Donuts in the Dallas area, along with Troy Aikman?
Chris Christie has an interest in every donut shop he sees. 31.) Swamp Fox - 09/10/2013 Ba..dum bum! :-) 32.) bluecat - 09/10/2013 Okay, technically these are cowboys too... http://www.businessinsider.com/oklahoma-state-football-scandal-most-important-paragraph-2013-9 "At Oklahoma State the bonus system, the booster and coach payouts, and the bogus jobs provided players with money that was seldom spent on extravagances. One or two standouts bought a new car or expensive jewelry, team members say, but the vast majority of the players used the extra cash to purchase everyday items -- food, clothing, tickets to a movie. 'There were some athletes who were almost starving,' says Carter. 'Wherever the money came from, they were like, Yeah, I'll take that.'" The part that made me chuckle was the athletes who were almost starving sentence. Do people realize what a training table is and how all the athlete has to do is show up and eat? I do agree that the NCAA does exploit the players but let's not pretend that things are horrible for an athlete. Last I checked most people don't have tuition paid, food paid, lodging paid, tutors, etc. When/if they graduate most people are looking at large debt even if they worked themselves through college eating Ramen and working at Teeters. Many, not all, scholarship athletes are pampered, entitled babies who are willing to take the risk of bringing down the program for a few gold chains. 33.) bluecat - 09/10/2013 At the very least, shave this pock-marked shriveled up old geeser. Have a little dignity. That is disgusting. He's even making the "looser" sign. He knows he's disgusting. 34.) Swamp Fox - 09/10/2013 Does he not get to have six-shooters? He has to play guns with his hands? How did this get past his teachers and the school administrators? 38.) Swamp Fox - 09/10/2013 I was listening to a discussion on whether college athletes should get paid, and the only thing I could think of was "What do you call a scholarship?" 39.) bluecat - 09/10/2013 Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner. |
